Terms
Simple terms for using Align.
These terms cover Align accounts, member profiles, university communities, events, and webinars.
Effective August 2, 2026
Creating and using an account
You may create an Align account if the information you provide is accurate and you are able to enter into these terms. You are responsible for activity under your account, keeping access to your email secure, and promptly updating information that is no longer accurate.
An account becomes a complete member profile only after the required email verification and profile steps are finished. Align may review university verification submissions before granting a verification badge or access to verification-required activities.
Profiles and privacy
You control the profile visibility options offered by Align. Do not upload information or photographs that you do not have permission to use, impersonate another person, or submit false school, university, employment, or verification information.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another person’s account or private information, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, submit unlawful or abusive material, scrape member information, or use automated means to misuse account, registration, or community features.
Align may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect members, investigate misuse, comply with law, or preserve the security and integrity of the service.
Events and webinars
Event and webinar information may change or be cancelled. Registration does not guarantee admission when an organiser must apply eligibility, verification, safety, or capacity requirements. Private meeting and location details may be shared only with authorised members.
Service availability
Align may change, pause, or discontinue parts of the service. We work to keep it available and accurate, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every member-submitted statement is complete or current.
